Perfect time to see several species of waders on the Sewri mudflats and a good opportunity to learn about this rather difficult group of migrants. Birds like Broad-billed Sandpiper, Curlew Sandpiper, Whimbrel, Osprey, Common Redshank, Black-capped Kingfisher, Black-headed Ibis can be seen here, also few groups of flamingos could be there too. Do not forget your binoculars.

Reporting: Outside Sewri railway station (east) at the railway crossing junction at 7.00 a.m.
How to Reach: Sewri railway station is on the harbour line accessible from CST, Andheri, Navi Mumbai. By road, reach Sewri (east) from Parel or Dadar up to Sewri and cross over at the railway level crossing or from the bridge at Wadala or Reay road to the Mumbai Port Trust road to reach Sewri Jetty. The programme will conclude by 11.30 a.m.
